| Life history: | Wing was the second of Woodlock and Rainsong's three children, and the last of the Wolfrider's children to be born in Father Tree Holt. He was very young, probably less than a year, when the holt burnt down, and therefore can't remember anything about life in the forest. Like his parents, Wing has chosen to stay and live in Sorrow's End his entire life, and like them he remained awake and didn't join the other Wolfriders in wrapsleep, as life was full enough for him. While still fairly young (or at least younger than five hundred years), Wing recognized Behtia, and together they had Serrin, who later recognized Dart and gave birth to Bowki. Wing eventually died of old age, one of the rare Wolfriders to do so. |
