Vaya
Tribe: Go-Backs
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Soul name: None
Hair: Dark brown and straight, hanging to just below the shoulders.
Eyes: Brown
Lovemate: Pike
Relatives: Mother: Kahvi, half-sister: Venka
Status: Immortal, deceased
Life history: Vaya was Kahvi's first daughter. She was as tough as her mother, but probably got quite a hard time from Kahvi especially because she was her daughter. In spite of this she fought with fervor, not to prove herself to her mother but to herself.
Vaya fought along in the war for the Palace, having spent the night before (and maybe more nights before that) with Pike. The two met each other again in the heat of the fight in the pit, where the elves had set the trolls of Greymung free, where Vaya admitted to having been afraid. This warmed Pike's heart even more: this was a woman who fought as fiercely as he did, and wasn't afraid to admit that she was afraid either. She stood her ground against the Frozen Mountain trolls, even stunning Kahvi to get her away from the battle-scene, claiming that it was a warrior's privilege to die, not a chief's, but stayed a moment too long and couldn't escape being captured by the trolls. She was brought before king Guttlekraw, who was determined to get information out of her about the elves' fighting strength and threatened to torture her if she kept refusing to talk. Vaya was more frightened than she had ever been before and found a way to escape torture while still not telling the trolls anything: she unexpectedly grabbed a blade from one of the trolls who held her and attacked Guttlekraw, thus ensuring herself a swift death.
Two-Edge claimed her body, dressing it up in his armour so the other elves would know what to do with it, and after the war was won, Vaya crowned the pile of dead elves, put there by Kahvi, who had never cried while Vaya was still alive, but now cried for her deceased daughter.
